Jean-Baptiste and Angélique run their own interior design company. Deco addicts, they are currently working on their 4th real estate project.
We wanted to give some substance to the house

“Together, we drew up the initial plans, then called in an architect to fine-tune the project. A builder built the timber frame, but we did a lot of the work ourselves. My husband and some colleagues did the cladding,” says Angélique.
They chose the natural tone Portland reference, which extends right up to the pool surrounds. “By combining this cladding with a white rendering, we wanted to bring warmth to the facade with a structured effect to give relief and substance to the house.”
Lush vegetation, statues, fountains, rattan furniture… Around the garden and pool, the decor is both modern and exotic: “We fell in love with Balinese craftsmanship after our trip to Indonesia, so we had some furniture imported from there!
The soft hue of the stones contrasts perfectly with the black zinc roofing.

Angélique continues: “The timber frame didn’t allow for the installation of ashlar. What attracted us to ORSOL was the authenticity and elegance of the cladding. The result is very natural. We hesitated between two references. After requesting samples, we fell in love with Portland. And we were given excellent advice on how to install it.

If one day a 5th real estate project takes shape, our choice will be ORSOL cladding. Without hesitation!
