Stéphanie CATTENOZ decided to take the plunge 3 years ago and set up her own interior design agency, Quicé & Co. The owners of this Paris duplex gave her carte blanche to “create a distinctive atmosphere”.

Stéphanie explains: “From a decoration point of view, the apartment was quite neutral at the outset.

The owners wanted to give each space a strong identity.

She adds: “We had already worked with 5-tone brick cladding from ORSOL on a previous project. It’s a cladding that I really like, as it offers some lovely nuances. Ochre, terracotta, sometimes red, pink and anthracite… both feminine and masculine! It’s a harmonious brick cladding collection that’s easy to embellish.

Black and red touches were also added to the furniture, from the red TV cabinet to the sofa’s topstitching. “A little detail that finishes off the lounge area really well, and is reminiscent of that pretty ORSOL cladding,” adds Stéphanie with a smile.

The oak and aluminum shelves on one wall of the living room echo the custom-made claustra installed in the dining area. On these two walls, LED track lighting highlights the brickwork and illuminates the ceiling.

The owners adopted this loft spirit, and the 5-tone BRIQUE collection, from the very first proposals. It has to be said that the apartment is very well lit, and its double height allowed for a play of perspective.

And when we ask Stéphanie what her next projects are, she confesses full of enthusiasm:

Another site is underway, and this 5-tone brick has also found its place there…!

Stéphanie also told us:

“ORSOL offers a wide range of claddings to suit any style, from country house to brickwork, or more contemporary projects… Customer service is pleasant and gave me very good advice. “
