In accordance with the requirements of the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (RGPD) that came into force on May 25, 2018, we implement all the necessary measures to guarantee the protection of your data and apply the principle of transparency. You also have the right to control your personal data. You will find below information on the collection and processing of your personal data in connection with your request for information via our contact forms.

Purpose of processing

The information collected in the questionnaire is recorded in a computerized file by ORSOL. This file is used to respond to your requests for information about ORSOL products. This file is also used to carry out marketing operations (customer loyalty, promotions, etc.) and to send e-mail advertising to our customers who have not objected or who have accepted it, on products similar to those of interest to our customers or on other products offered by the company.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing is, on the one hand, the legitimate interest of ORSOL (Cf. article 6.1.f) of the European Data Protection Regulation), namely to promote our products to our customers, and, on the other hand, consent (Cf. article 6.1.a) of the European Data Protection Regulation), as required by article L. 34-5 of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code.

Processed data

In general, you are not required to provide us with any personal data when you visit our website www.orsol.fr. However, there are certain exceptions to this principle. For some of the services offered on our site, you may be asked to provide us with certain information, in particular data relating to your identity, such as: your name, your position, the name of your company, your e-mail address, your postal address and your telephone number. This is the case when you fill in the contact form available online, in the “Contact” section and on product pages. Data marked with an asterisk in the questionnaire must be provided. If you refuse to provide this personal data, you will not be able to use the site’s services, in particular to request information about our company or to receive our newsletters. Finally, we may automatically collect certain information about you when you simply browse our website, in particular: information concerning the use of our site, such as the areas you visit and the services you access, your IP address, your browser type, your access times. Such information is used exclusively for internal statistical purposes, in order to improve the quality of the services offered to you. Databases are protected by the provisions of the law of July 1, 1998, transposing directive 96/9 of March 11, 1996, on the legal protection of databases.

ORSOL’s Sales and Marketing/Communication departments are the recipients of the data provided in these forms.

Data retention period

The data collected is kept for 3 years from the date of submission of the form.
